EATING IN: CORNWALL
We are all facing turbulent times, Cornwall’s food and drink, hospitality and tourism sectors in particular. Whilst under instruction to avoid unnecessary travel and social contact, you can still support your favourite producers, suppliers and restaurants.
Here I have compiled a directory of producers, suppliers, cafés and restaurants, all of whom are offering online shopping, mail order, home delivery, or takeaways. Many of them are running special offers too.
Please support our local businesses, so that they are still here for us when things eventually return to normal.
Wishing everyone a safe time over the coming weeks and months.
P.S. This list is a work in progress. If you would like to be included in the list, please email me on [email protected]. To sign up to receive an occasional email update from Barefoot Cornwall, please complete the sign up form via the link on the barefootcornwall.com homepage.
** UPDATE – 24March 2020 **
In light of last night’s announcement by the Prime Minister, please only travel if absolutely necessary. Use home delivery wherever possible. Please also note that businesses may have cancelled their takeaway services since I included them on this list, or changed their menus and delivery policies. I am updating the list on a daily basis but please email me if you spot anything I should either add or change. Thank you.
The directory is divided into the following categories based upon the business’s main product. Quick links:
– Beer and cider
– Coffee and tea
– Soft/non-alcoholic drinks
– Bread and baked goods
– Dairy and eggs
– Fish and seafood
– General groceries
– Ready meals
– Veg and fruit boxes
