COURAGE ON OUR COASTS
A PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION OF THE LIFESAVING WORK OF THE RNLI
A stunning exhibition of photographs in aid of the RNLI is currently hanging at The Old Coastguard in Mousehole.
The pictures, taken by RNLI crew member and professional photographer Nigel Millard, show many different features of RNLI life: boats battling the stormy seas, crew members and beach shots.
This indoor exhibition of limited edition prints is part of the national touring exhibition Courage on our Coasts, which is visiting major cities across the UK and Ireland for five months. The exhibition at The Old Coastguard was launched at the beginning of December and will hang until 25 March.
All the prints are for sale (there are still some left) as well as the accompanying book The Lifeboat: Courage on Our Coasts which is written by historian and former Curator of the National Maritime Museum, Dr Huw Lewis Jones.
The exhibition is free-of-charge and open to the public. The Old Coastguard is open from 9.30am every day. Lunch is served from 12.30 – 2.30pm and supper from 6.30pm – 9.00pm.
For booking enquiries for the restaurant or rooms at the Old Coastguard please phone 01736 731 222 or email [email protected].
